; Original mixed media drawing/painting hand signed by Pape. It was an illustration for the book "Life of Napoleon Bonaparte" by Prof. William M. Sloane, 1895. The drawing/painting appears to be a combination of sanguine, pencil, and perhaps oil paint and is from a portrait in the Chateau Colombier.
