; Red leather bound cover with gilt stamped decor on spine and boards is worn at corners and spine caps with a large abrasion and scuffing to the back cover but overall in good+ condition. Nice dentelles in very good condition. Former owner's bookplate affixed to front marbled paste down. Same owner's name on first white end sheet. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Gilt page edges all the way around. The fore edge painting of a mountainous island and tree is visible when the pages are fanned. Pages have sparse modest foxing otherwise clean and very good. Matching later red half leather slip case has modest wear to corners but in very good+ condition.
